Lopez, “Joe Biden’s coronavirus plan, explained,” Vox, March 12, 2020.

As the presumptive Democratic nominee for president for the upcoming 2020 election, many are looking to Joe Biden’s statements on the coronavirus crisis. This interest is both an attempt to understand Biden’s general ability to handle a crisis and make sure that, if we are unfortunate enough to still be in a crisis the coming January, how a Biden administration might differ from Trump’s in his approach. Thus, as the disease began to spread around the country, the Biden campaign released his own plan that differed strongly from the Trump administration’s response as of that time, demanding free testing for everybody who needed it, increased research spending on looking for a vaccine, and increased federal funding for treatment. -Contribution by Jacob Barabas
