Revolutionario Tacos handed out 800 tacos to residents of Skid Row, an area of LA densely populated with a lot of low-income housing and single-room occupancy units as well as a large population of homeless people. Susan Park, a co-founder of the business alongside Chef Zadi, also started a mutual-aid fund and has been confronted by public officials and other forces trying to stop her in her previous and current efforts helping people access free food. Park consistently tries to build solidarity and community aid for Asian and African American communities in LA, and even in times of great risk to her and her employees, they are taking on the risk to meet the higher demand for food in the communities she aims to uplift.
