This article reviews some new data has come out regarding coronavirus cases in children. A new project, COVKID, is has compiled data on coronavirus cases and how symptoms manifest in children.

A summary of observations from the article:
- A third of child coronavirus cases from data in Illinois and California are from Latino children (some states have not reported race and ethnicity data).
- In the United States, there have been more positive cases seen in children (individuals under 20) than in all cases across some nations such as Singapore, Ireland, and Mexico.
- Children testing positive have displayed symptoms similar to Kawaski disease, but there are large variations in symptoms.
