As the virus wreaks havoc on NYC, disadvantaged communities in Brooklyn, Queens, and Bronx have experienced particularly severe devastation. Legendary dining establishments, several with ownership that extends back more than five generations and served as cultural pillars in immigrant communities, lost their owners to the coronavirus.
