This article highlights some industries that are suffering from this pandemic, including youth sports. Many industries that cater to children, including youth sports and daycare services, are highly participation-based. While this article highlights youth sports, I can also think of other services that are suffering, from tutors, music teachers, daycare and after school care schools.
Many of these organizations are often run by local businesses and self-employed individuals. For the most part, these businesses are often highly reliant on participation fees and most are not charging exorbitant fees in the first place, so they are likely suffering greatly during this pandemic.
